DIPLOMA COURSES IN KENYA REQUIREMENTS

Studying a diploma course in Kenya is not difficult; there are some requirements that will be needed from you before you can apply for any of the diploma courses listed above. You will require a minimum of KCSE minus C and above. Universities and Polytechnics made it possible to apply for diploma courses very easily, the requirements which are needed for them are not that much which makes it easier to attain. Even if you are scared you came out with a low grade in the KCSE examination, other universities or colleges will give you a chance to be able to apply for other programme. Diploma courses do not take much time to complete, the minimum for some courses is 6 months while the maximum is 3 years, after the completion of a course you will be awarded a certificate of that particular course which you can easily use to apply for jobs or decide to furthermore in the university. The government of Kenya through the ministry of education has made a portal of the ‘Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Service’ which is also known as KUCCPS

DIPLOMA COURSES IN KENYA FEES

Studying a diploma course in Kenya in any of the Universities comes with lots of fees, though the fees are being paid according to the request of the institution to which you are applying to. It is necessary to have adequate information about the fees of a particular course and what the institution charges before applying, all of this is to be on the safer side. All institutions do not charge the same way, some charge higher than others and some offer some courses others do not. An estimated value or fee to study a course in Kenya costs about KSH 20,000 to KSH 40,000 and this will not include some other fees which you are being asked to pay in the university or institution to which you are applying for. 

IS DIPLOMA COURSE MARKETABLE COURSE IN KENYA

Many of the diploma courses are marketable in Kenya and this is a result of the fact that lots of diploma courses are underrated. Many people do not take diploma courses seriously, because they feel it’s not necessary or you can’t use it to secure a good job. Many of the diploma courses instill practical knowledge about the course for you as a student; they take you on lessons that are shorter than a degree course and get you into the workforce sooner than expected. Diploma is not that difficult to study and it gives you the advantage of having a good future in certain government and private sectors.
