IT Courses in Kenya Requirements

It courses are very much needed in the era we are in today and having the opportunity to study one can be life-changing for you as an individual. There are so many requirements that are needed for you to study an IT course in Kenya, aside from the requirements which will be talked about here you will need to verify with the university or college you are applying to know their own requirements and methods of application. The minimum requirements needed to study an IT course in Kenya is a grade C plain at KCSE or equivalent with at least C – in Mathematics and English or KCE Division III with credit passes in Mathematics and English or KCSE C – with at least a credit pass in an IT certificate or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.  

IT Courses in Kenya Fees

For a course like information technology, I guess the fees might be high a bit. There are several courses inside IT and each of these courses has a particular fee which is set aside to it, some of the universities or colleges which offer any of these courses have their own fees which they charge, the fees which will be talked about here is the general fees which is needed to study this course. you will be needing KSH 75,000 to KSH 95,000 to study an IT course in Kenya, I know you might be thinking this is huge but it is safe to say IT courses are worth it, and sooner you would realize how much knowledge you have gained when you tend to study this course. 

 Is IT course a Marketable Course in Kenya

Before choosing a course to study, course marketability has a lot to say for an aspiring student. Going into the IT world is not that easy, this is because there are lots of things that are needed for one to learn before you could even think of applying for a job. IT courses are great for starting up a career and you are assured any of those courses listed are marketable there. There are so many reasons people choose to study IT courses some of which are; a reasonable education, rapid career growth, flexibility, variation of career choices, and better income. It is advised to start with the basics and choose one of those courses you will decide to major in later o. studying an IT course in Kenya takes a duration of three years and you are given the option of either full-time study or part-time study.

Getting a job in the IT world is not as easy as it sounds because you will be needing your skills to speak for you, there are so many jobs which are available in the IT world and there are some things you will need to do as to easily get a job; know the kind of jobs you would want, polish your skills, get a certification, build your experience, network, look for entry-level positions, make sure you polish your interview skills.
